Privacy

Privacy policy.

The short version: the tools run in your browser, your inputs are not uploaded, and there is no account to create.

Tools run in your browser

Every tool on Compile Labs runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. Text you paste, files you open, and values you type are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to us and we have no way to see them. When you close the tab, that working data is gone.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no email required to use the site. We do not run advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts, and we do not set tracking cookies. The contact and feedback forms do not submit to a server: they open a draft in your own email app, so anything you send us arrives as ordinary email.

Hosting logs

Compile Labs is served as a static site by Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare records standard request data such as your IP address and user agent in server logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors, and they are retained according to Cloudflare's own policies.

Local storage

We store one value in your browser's localStorage: a key namedcl-theme that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It contains no personal information and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Fonts

The fonts on this site are self-hosted through Fontsource and served from the same origin as the pages. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service, so browsing the site does not share your IP address with a font provider.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Because the site is static and collects nothing, changes should be rare.
